One squad, one training block at a time. Set the squad up, choose 2–4 key lifts, then move on to building each lift's model and curve.
The lifts you pick here are the ones you'll plan in the next steps.
Each lift gets its own independent periodization model and curve. Pulls from the exercise list — add a custom lift if yours isn't listed.
What each base model does, who it suits, and where it fits the hurling and football season. Custom models you add in Settings appear here too.
Pick one periodization model per lift. Not sure which? Open the model guide for what each one does and when in the season it fits.
Mesocycles are fully flexible — set how many, how long, the focus and the %1RM range for each. The chart updates live so you can sanity-check the shape.
Deloads are suggested at the end of each loading mesocycle (not the final peak week, and not where the model already has a reset week). Flag a competition date and a taper is placed before it. Nothing is applied silently: accept, reject or move each one.
Extra exercises for each training day, done after the main lifts: sets, reps, rest and how hard. Add a demo video link and each player gets a QR code on their PDF to scan in the gym. Only want the main lifts? Skip this step.
Each player's latest 3RM from your testing, turned into an estimated 1RM for their weights. Missing tests are flagged, never guessed. Remove anyone not in this block, or add a player who hasn't been tested yet.
The squad you picked in step 1, with each player's latest strength tests. Tap Reload after a new testing night.
For coaches with a bar-speed device. Work up through 3 to 6 loads, light to heavy, and type the best mean velocity at each. SquadBase draws that player's own line, estimates their 1RM, and gives them their own velocity targets in the program instead of the averages.
The heaviest load and the fewest reps a set for each age group. Younger players' weeks are made lighter where the plan is heavier than this. These are starting numbers: change them to suit your players. It's your call as the coach.
One athlete uses the same models and curves — handy for a returning player, a late tester, or someone on a different block to the squad.
One table per lift. Every athlete follows the same %1RM curve, scaled only by their own current 1RM.
Players scan a QR code on their PDF to watch it. Use a link anyone can open.
Tap Add to put an exercise on this day. Your library is kept on your account, for every block.
Structured data, not hardcoded logic — every model here is a template (mesocycles + shape) the curve builder pre-populates from. Add a new one without any code change.
